Corpus Christi Buc Days Moves to November

Buc Days has moved — at least for 2020. The 67-year-old festival has been shoved along the calendar by the coronavirus pandemic. The Buccaneer Commission moved the dates to follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the city limiting gatherings of 50 or more people for the foreseeable future.

The Stripes Carnival will open festivities November 19 and be part of the entire 11 days of fun through November 29, which takes in Thanksgiving week. Thanksgiving 2020 is on November 26.

Rodeo Corpus Christi will be held November 19-22, with concerts after each evening event. Headliners are Clay Walker, Thursday, November 19; Siggno, Friday, November 20; Aaron Watson, Saturday, November 21; and Styx, Sunday, November 22.

The IBC Junior Parade will be held Saturday, November 21. Pageant night is scheduled for Friday, November 27.

The biggest night of the week, the Navy Army Night Parade, will be held Sunday, November 29. Parade Pachanga, a VIP event in the American Bank Center where the parade begins, for another year of floats, entertainment, activities, food, and drink.

All tickets already sold for Buc Days in May will be honored in November. Refunds are available as well through Ticketmaster.
