Easter genesis of Corpus Christi Worship Guide

Just in time for Holy Week, the Corpus Christi Worship Guide has launched with information about area Easter services and events from Palm Sunday to Easter Communion to the ‘Alleluia’ ringing of the bells on Easter morning.

In celebration of Easter, 101CorpusChristi.com launched a new online guide geared toward highlighting the multitude of opportunities for worship and spiritual guidance in Corpus Christi. The Corpus Christi Worship Guide begins with a big Easter push that includes the many church services being held during Lent and Holy Week as well as Easter bunny photo ops and egg hunts.

Stories include a piece about the live, interactive Easter Sunrise Passion Play in Cole Park that has been a part of the city’s spiritual life for 76 years. If you’re looking for a Catholic service, we have the full lineup from the Catholic Diocese. Non-denominational and Protestant services are also included in a separate story, while another lists sunrise services available.

We might not have it all. If you know of a service or an event that should be included, you can submit it on the Worship Guide calendar on the Worship Guide page at 101CorpusChristi.com/WORSHIP. Click on the black “Submit an Event” button and fill in the blanks. It’s as easy as that.

The interactive calendar can be used to build a list of events and services you would like to attend. You can email details to yourself, family and friends. You can also download details to your digital calendar to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Corpus Christi is a city of multiple churches as well as Buddhist temples, Jewish synagogues and Muslim mosques. Send suggestions for stories to editor@ccbiznews.com.

We look forward to expanding the story list in this guide in a way that will help encourage and inform anyone on a spiritual quest or help those looking for a place of worship find what they need.
